Music School Davos
The Music School Davos promotes children’s, adolescents’, and adults’ access to music with musical journeys of discovery, active music-making and listening, rhythm and dance.
About 22 music professionals teach a wide range of instruments: Accordion, Alpine horn, block flute, cello, djembe/percussion, guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, piano, keyboard, clarinet, flute, saxophone, drums, steel drum trumpet and violin. Lessons are also offered in singing and voice training, children's singing, and dance.
The school’s trained teachers focus not only on technical and musical teaching according to the latest methods, but also on expressing the music in an appropriate environment. This can be done in individual lessons, in group lessons, at auditions or concerts.
Additionally, there are parent-child courses for children from the age of 2.5 twice a year. Parents, grandparents, or godparents accompany the children to sing and make music together. Once in primary school, the children can take part in musical and rhythmic classes where they are introduced to the joy of music, to singing and rhythm with the help of various instruments and techniques.
