Stiftung Sport-Gymnasium Davos (SSGD)
Stiftung Sport-Gymnasium Davos (SSGD) is recognized as a Swiss Olympic Sport School and supports competitive athletes by giving them a holistic physical and academic education, either in high school or in intermediate business school.
A dedicated team of teachers, coaches, and support staff takes care of a highly qualified education, athletic performance, and the personal development of the students. School admission is possible with the following sports: Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing/biathlon, snowboarding/freeskiing, ice hockey, golf, and summer sports. The students are also taught in sports physiotherapy and psychology.
Students from other regions or countries have the possibility to live directly on site at the SSGD boarding school. It consists of two buildings with double and single rooms. A motivated staff supports the young talents day and night in successfully coping with the double burden of school and competitive sport.
About 150 students live, learn, and train at the SSGD. They are developing their sporting skills in line with the requirements for getting a high school or business school diploma. Almost 500 students have successfully completed their education at the SSGD with a respective diploma.
