Working in Paradise – Tourism and Economy
To work and live where others spend their holiday? This is possible in Davos! Europe’s highest city is known worldwide for its wide range of sports, leisure, and cultural activities, its healthy mountain climate, its skiing, biking, and hiking areas as well as its renowned events such as the World Economic Forum (WEF). Some 50 hotels and over 7,000 apartments welcome guests all year round with about 29,000 beds. Whether in tourism or business, passionate and innovative professionals are kindly welcome in the mountain town with urban flair at 1,560 metres above sea level.
Davos Klosters - Sports Unlimited
“Sports Unlimited” - that's what the destination and brand Davos Klosters has been promising since 2018. Whether in summer on around 700 kilometres of hiking and bike trails or in winter on 300 kilometres of slopes – the Davos Klosters region has the enthusiasm for sports in its blood. However, the destination is not only attracting athletes but also other visitors who love to combine the cultural offer, congresses, and events with the wide range of sports and leisure activities.
Alpine Office
Co-working spaces have come up in many places and offer an alternative to daily work in home office. In the Alpine offices and labs of the Innovation Centre Davos, research and work is done in an international environment of companies, spin-offs, and start-ups. In the co-working space of the Green Hub, the focus is on sustainability.
